Lake Treatment Tuesday and Bright Lights Monday Nightxxxxx
Lake Treatment Tuesday
The lake will be treated around the shoreline on Tuesday with copper sulfate. This treatment is to reduce the growth of algae.
Please stay clear of the treatment crew and their boat, and refrain from swimming near the shoreline until Wednesday morning.

Bright Lights Monday Night
Koi carp are an invasive species in Copake Lake. They can grow quite large and they are in competition with native species. Currently the only way we try to control them is by fishing.
Monday night, Captain Bob, our local carp enthusiast, will be out helping us address our carp population His vessel uses bright lights to attract the carp, so don’t be alarmed if you see him!
If you catch a Koi carp while fishing, we request you do not throw it back!
