Last year the President of CLCS, at the behest of the Board Trustees, formed an ad-hoc committee to investigate and suggest ways of ensuring CLCS's growth and vitality going forward.
In February, the committee presented their findings to the Board, which included suggested modifications to the bylaws, including term limits for officers and committee chairs. The quorum of Trustees approved the recommendations and voted to have the Bylaws committee draft the bylaws modifications.
The Bylaws committee presented the revised bylaws in June of this year, and the Trustees voted to accept the revised bylaws.
