​​Lakeside homeowners, dock holders and anyone within the watershed — the area from which water flows into the lake — impact the quality of our lake with their personal decisions. YOU can protect Copake Lake by preserving or mimicking as many natural processes in the watershed as possible, so that nature can accomplish its water purification task. The CLCS posted these signs on all roads approaching the lake so that individuals are aware of when their choices can either harm or help the lake.
